Sales managers and RevOps professionals who need to fairly distribute deals among team members.
I would love to have a feature that allows setting a maximum number of deals that each user can have in specific stages of the pipeline. This could be integrated into automation workflows, where the system checks how many deals each user has in a given stage. If a user reaches the limit, the workflow would automatically assign the new deal to another user with fewer deals.
For example: If User X already has 40 deals in stages X, Y, and Z of the pipeline, and a new deal is created via automation, HubSpot would check which user has fewer deals in these stages and assign the deal to them. This would ensure a fair and balanced distribution of opportunities within the sales team.
Prevents users from being overloaded with too many deals, ensuring a manageable workload.
Improves sales team efficiency by distributing opportunities more fairly.
Helps companies optimize their workflows by automatically assigning new deals to available team members.
Currently, the only alternative is to create complex workflows using custom properties to track the number of deals per user and manually configure assignment rules. However, this is not scalable and requires constant maintenance.
Automatic and intelligent deal distribution without manual intervention.
Balanced workload across team members, improving productivity.
Faster response times to leads since deals wouldn’t get stuck with overloaded users.
Having this feature natively in HubSpot would be a game-changer for sales operations! Is there any plan or workaround available to implement something similar today?
