Limit form submission to a certain number

We'd like to be able to disable a form after a certain number of submissions.

This would a really useful feature - if a form could allocate a number aganst each submission it could them allow for workflows to assign different peronalisations depending on form priority.

This development would be really useful. I want to use a form on our website for an exclusive mailing list, when it reaches e.g. 1000 subscribers, turn it off. Is this development under construction at all? Thanks

We are trying to figure out if there is a way to put a cap on a list or a form submission.  We have a form we are having clients complete to RSVP to an event, but are only allowing 10 people to attend each of these events.  it would be great if there was a way to put a cap on a list, or people submitting a certain radio response to a form.  Or if there were a way to set a limit as to how many people can go through a workflow.

This would solve a problem for our organization as well. We desire to limit the number of submissions on a seminar training form on our landing pages. Ideally, it would limit based on which page it's placed on. We only have 40 spots so it would be great to have the form disable after 40 submissions on that page and note "class is full." Thanks!

My organization would also like to limit the number of form submissions to certain forms. Any updates from the product team?

Would be good if we can also disable a form submissions whenever we want.

That way we have options of reaching target goals or disabling a form after a certain time period without losing data

We have reached the end of 2021. when you will take decision in this request? it is an easy option and available in many alternative forms.

Limit the form submission to 1 response with the same email. if the user added another response with the same mail-> Automatically popup message that this mail already submitted response to this form.

I agree 100%. We desperately need this functionality to limit form submissions to a unique email so we don't risk over-writing prospect and webinar event attendee contact records.

I love the suggestion to allow setting up a pop-up message that says, this email was already submitted on this form. Please enter a unique email. (It would be great if this message was configurable.)

We run into this issue often with one person registering multiple people to attend an event or training from the same company. Thanks in advance!

I agree with Shay. It's important to be able to turn off registration on a form for events, such as a Zoom or GoToMeeting event, when the event registration is full. Greatly needed. Having to manually watch the numbers to turn it off in time is crazy. Please move this up on development.

Thanks!

@Shay or @jackcoldrick any updates on this? Are we supposed to rely on the APIs or can we expect an outcome of the feature request being reviewed for nearly two years now? Has it already been reviewed and not prioritized or is it still actively being reviewed? Would be helpful to understand if we should invest in custom solutions/workarounds or sit tight. Thanks guys

Would also welcome this option!

My organization is likely moving on from paid HubSpot options. These basic features and communication blackouts on issues and needs aren't worth the benefits. I used to sing bundle HubSpot's praises, but they've really lost lots of their value proposition with their pricing. Fleeced for missing features no more...

Unfortunately, because we cannot limit attendees to 40, we have had to revert back to using Formstack for all registration forms when we hold webinars at a site location that has a capacity of 40. We need this as a basic function in hubspot for sure!
