Let customers rate knowledge base articles with emoticons

At the end of each Knowledge Base article in Hubspot, readers are asked to provide feedback. Instead of answering the question, "Was this article helpful?" with a "yes" or "no," I think it would be better for readers to answer with a positive or negative emoticon, like a smiley face or a sad face. This is something I have seen on some help center websites and I feel that it would work better than the current setup because the relief that comes from resolving an issue or the frustration of not finding a solution are emotions more effectively channeled into this visual type of feeback. Getting more responses would in turn help us to make our Knowledge Base articles more helpful.
