Let Users Toggle Availability Separately for Meetings and Chat (Working Hours)

Right now, if you switch your HubSpot availability off for a call, you’re automatically offline for chat, too. That means you’re forced to keep flipping your status on and off whenever you hop between calls and live chat.

It would be fantastic if we could manage each channel’s availability independently. For example:

  • Block your calendar for a meeting, but stay online for live chat.
  • Go “Do Not Disturb” on live chat during a deep-focus session without accidentally hiding your meeting availability.
  • Keep your meeting status visible even when you’re not taking live chat conversations.

Giving us separate toggles for meetings and live chat would eliminate the constant back-and-forth and make sure no customer requests slip through. It would help support teams juggle meetings and conversations smoothly and keep everything running without hiccups.
