Lead Object Visibility

Currently, lead objects are only visible to users with a paid sales seat.

Other departments would benefit from seeing the lead objects and their current stage on contact/company views.

 

This would improve the general overview for:

  1. Marketing: Automated hand-overs from sales to marketing based on lead properties (e.g. disqualified reason) [currently lacking visibility/understanding]
  2. Marketing: Evaluating generated leads is hard if you cannot see the object
  3. CRM Data Management team: It is hard to build automations around lead objects if you cannot see them.
  4. Customer Success team: Interesting to see where a newly acquired customer comes from/if a lead is still open if they e.g. convert via the website touchless 
  5. Business Development Team: Hard to create leads if you cannot see if there are any currently associated to the company

 

Understandable, that working with lead objects is restricted to seats, but read without write permission would be crucial.

We also urgently need this. Otherwise we won't be able to work with it

Yes this is much needed. We have SDR & Sales teams with paid seats who triage a lot of leads, whilst I get that not everyone should be able to work lead objects it's pretty important that other teams can see leads for marketing and reporting visibility.  There is no way we will pay for potentially 50-60 extra paid seats when the rest of paid seat functionality will never be used by these other teams.  It's therefore really holding us back fully utilising the lead object.

It's unreasonable that super admins can't see an object and an entire workspace (Prospecting) if they don't have a Sales seat. I can't configure settings for my Sales team as the company's CRM admin and it's inappropriate for members of the sales team to have the permissions to customize views.

Yes please! To make leads visible to all users is a must for us as well.

Otherwise we can create a custom object to handle it all instead, but that should be a shame to your development of Hubspot.

AND develop the beta "Leads" view under CRM. Why is it only Super Admins that can integrate with the objects here? We create a lot of leads with no owner (from the web i.e) and those leads can't be "picked up" by a sales rep. We have to assign all unassigned leads to a dummy user to make sales rep able to access the leads from the Sales Workspace and from that view they can assign the leads to themselves. 

This can be done by Super Admins in the Beta Leads view, but this is NOT a Super Admin task.

At the very least having the Lead Stage Tracker card visible on the Contact record for ALL users (regarless of seat) is essential.

Our service team identifies leads for our sales team, but the service team then has no visibility on the status of those Leads and can't provide updates internally or to customers. 

This is a big gap.
