Raising this on behalf of customers who could benefit from having their expanded view in the conversations inbox stick as a default. This would make the view for inboxes like spam folders in the clear and easy to detect for related emails.
Do you think you could restate what this feature request is about? It sounds like something useful but I am not clear on the specifics of what it's asking for.
