KPI Reporting for Manual Forecast Submissions (BETA)

Having the funcitonality to be able to create a simple report that just contains the users name and their Forecast submission amount through the Forecast Object, similar to the KPI Report types with custom reports.

At the moment the only reporting you can take advantage of for Manual Forecast Submissions is the "Manual Forecast" reports in the Sales Analytics reports, which includes the manual submission as a datapoint within a weighted forecast stacked bar chart.

It would be very valuable to be able to create custom reports based on the data submitted by the Sales Team in the Manual Forecast Field of the Forecast Object. For us, just a simple number report that we can add to dashboards with the Reps Name, and the Amount submitted in the Forecast Object.

Same here, having the data and not be able to play with it and create a simple report is a pity.
It will be awesome this is available in a future release, maybe in 2022 as summer present? 🙂

100% - amazing that this report is not avaliable already - Want to add to a Dashboard for QBR reviews.

Adding to this:

I would like to report on the first forecast submission of the quarter vs the last also compared to booking for the quater to determine the reps forecast accuracy.

I am also interested in forecast submission reporting, suggestions as follows:

  • Sales / Forecast
    • This view is great, it would be very helpful if this could be saved and added to a dashboard, as it is.  When you view report it takes you to the Sales Analytics Tools reports which look completely different.  Is this something that can be made available.
  • Forecast Submission field
    • Can this value be made available as a field to add to our own reports – we’d like to compare this to the actual won value.  This forecast submission value (advised by sales person) is a more realistic forecast value than the weighted total of the open deals, although weighted total is also useful.
  • Revenue Goal field
    • This would also be a field that would be useful to add to reports as a comparison value to closed won deals or forecast.
  • Weighted Forecast Category Report in Analytics Tools
    • This is a very useful report as it shows the forecast submission, the goal, and the weighted pipeline.  But, this cannot be used in conjunction with our financial year which runs September to August to see the Over Time values.  And we are unable to amend this report in any way when saved.  If we could customise this report (by fiscal year) that would be really helpful.
    • When this Over Time report is added to our dashboard, which shows us the 3 values we’d like to see and report on, it then can’t be filtered by the individual.  We would also like to view this by fiscal year rather than just by individual months.

Please can you advise if any of these items are currently being looked into for future release.

Is there any update please on being able to report on the forecast submission value.  Thanks

Agreed with above. My use case is I want to present the manual forecast submission for the quarter on a business predictability dashboard for the finance department.  The forecast tool is good, but doesn't have the control a dashboard and reports have. in other words, make Forecast Submission an accessible property like Forecast amount etc.

Agreed with the above - Manual Forecast submissions create data, but it's not reportable or actionable. The data should be accessible via reporting for  team members outside the sales department who do not need any other feature included in the Paid Sales Seat outside of visibility to manual forecast submissions. That requirement and the lack of reporting capability with the Manual Forecast submission data is a barrier to rolling out HubSpot's Forecast process.

I agree 100%, it would be very helpful to be able to do more reports with the manual forecast numbers
