I would like to be able to set some of the fields when using an integration between Hubspot and Jira. I want to be able to set things such as priority.
Currently we are unable to use the feature to create Jira tickets from HubSpot as we are unable to set custom fields in Jira that are required in our Jira project. This means we need to open Jira, make the ticket, and then come back to HubSpot to link it - it is not efficient.
Likewise we are unable to automate the process of creating a Jira Ticket using Workflows as the custom required fields in Jira are not accessible from inside the HubSpot environment.
If you are open to use a 3rd party tool, maybe leverage a tool called Relay.app (disclaimer I work there).
We let you automatically create/update a Jira ticket including setting custom fields whenever there's a change in HubSpot (e.g. hubspot ticket status change, form submission, contact property changed etc). We'd be happy to help if you are interested! 🙂
I have no idea why this idea was ignored. But this idea is a must for efficiency. So much back and forth between Jira and HubSpot, that I would like the Jira integration to adopt the custom form built in Jira instead of using a generic create Jira form. For example:
In HubSpot > go to associate Jira > Create new Jira issue:
The Form can select the project and issue type OK along with a summary and description, but it stops there. We have a custom form in Jira with all the necessary and required fields to be filled out:
Is there a way for the Jira Integration to adopt the custom form in Jira or at least launch Jira for us so we can fill out the form and have it automatically associate it to the Help Desk ticket in HubSpot?
