It would be useful to be able to associate a Jira issue without using the Dashboard User Interface (i.e. associate a Jira issue to a hubspot ticket via an API call).
We are looking to start using the Jira/hubspot integration built by hubspot and were hoping to be able to mass import Jira issues into newly created hubspot tickets via API, though this is not possible.
I tried setting the jira issue id field upon ticket creation, but it is a read only field so that is not an option.
Making the jira issue id field read/write instead of read only would make associating many tickets via API very simple.
