Internal Email for New Snippet

As a member of the marketing team, we are always looking for improved ways to communicate with our sales teams. We have started to create snippets for new announcements, collateral, events, etc. However, every time we create a new snippet we have to write an email and share an overview of the snippet and the use case. 

I was hoping there would be a way to create an internal workflow to alert team members when marketing creates a new snippet. I think it is important to have the ability to choose if you would like to send an alert to a specific person or people associated with a team. 

A few solutions that come to mind: 

• Create a setting that allows users to send alerts to specific teams when a new snippet is created. 
• When a snippet is created, add a check box that says "Send notification?" and if checked, choose what teams or people you would like to send it too
• Add the ability in workflows to send an internal email when a new snippet is created

Preferably, the solution is set up in the same view as snippet creation so it is a streamlined solution without multiple steps. 

Use cases for teams: 

• The marketing team creates a snippet announcing a new piece of collateral, to promote an event or recent news. (team alert)
• The product team creates a snippet for a new product rollout or feature so everyone is communicating about it the same way (team alert)
• Someone creates a snippet for specific leadership team members (user alert)
