Individual Signature from Profile in Conversations
We would like the ability to have emails that are sent through conversations have the users individual signature that is setup on their profile added. We currently work out of a sales inbox that multiple team members have access to. We have created the generic signature, but that is not sufficient for the level of personalization that we need and the message we want to send to the customer.
This should be an easy feature to implement since it exists across the rest of the platform and I'm sure that the signature setup based on email doesn't work for any team with a shared inbox.
The criteria for the above idea has been met but it is not sufficient for joint email teams.
Adding options to apply to chats, emails, and second replies to emails would probably be a nice feature to add as well. A list of checkboxes under signature on the profile with these options should handle that.
After reviewing, I did notice that their are tokens available for the agents full name or first name so that works. If we could add in additional tokens for title and phone number, that will allow it to be more personal for our team.
To piggyback off of this idea, as we can have a team signature associated with the inbox now, a potential quick fix to individualizing the signatures would be to have more personalization tokens available. Right now the only option is Agent Full Name or Agent First Name. Adding options such as "Agent Direct Phone Line" or Book a meeting option for that specific agent would be ideal.
I tried to implement the signature with a template, but in this case, Hupsot only use the template without signature althoug the signature is activated in the template.
Yes we need this, too! Similar to the Properties you can add for a Contact record, but adding additional Token attributes for Agents - like job title, phone number, etc.
Thank you for all of the upvotes on this idea! As several community members mentioned, you can currently only include agent name tokens, but we're planning on adding additional tokens like agent email, phone number, and other tokens over time. I will continue to post relevant updates in this thread.
We need to put the team that the agent is part of as a token in a shared inbox signature. So we can distinguish between "Support Rep", "Team Leader", "Complaints Advisor" etc.
Strongly recommend adding this basic additional functionality of phone/email/title etc so the response can feel personalised. This is a basic feature on other similar platforms like Freshdesk.
This is basic functionality that should be added. Our team has been using Helpscout and is pushing back on switching over to Hubspot Conversations because of missing features such as this. For reference in Helpscout you can add the following personalization tokens: - Fullname, First Name, Last Name (all same as Hubspot)
- Pronouns, Email Address, Profile Image, Phone, Job Title
Of these, the most urgent for us to have on there are Phone and Job Title, as customers call in to speak with the agent that manages their account.
Please add this feature. It can't be more than a few hours (minutes?) of coding.
