We're using the Forms API to create a record and have it associated with a contact in one call instead of making two separate calls as we're leveraging this for transactional purposes so the calls need to be made quickly without delays. This limit, while good for some cases, is not good for most. It should be removed, or have the ability to be customized to support clients who need to accommodate greater limits.
I completely agree with the frustrations expressed here. When we signed up with HubSpot, we were never informed about these limitations, specifically the 1,000-submission limit on form entries. One of our key teams, which isn’t aligned with Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service, relies heavily on a specific form that has now accumulated over 15,000 submissions. This form is essential to our operations, yet we only learned about this limitation after a team member hit the 1,000-entry cap. As a result, we’ve now lost data for three days of her work. This is a significant issue, and one that wasn’t disclosed to us during the onboarding process. For us, the cost of additional licenses for HUBs that don’t apply to our team’s function is not justifiable from a financial standpoint. HubSpot needs to offer more flexibility for businesses to customize forms and processes in ways that align with their unique needs. Developer restrictions on fields that can’t be edited, as well as limitations like the submission cap, hinder operational efficiency. In my experience working with other CRMs (Salesforce, Zendesk, Oracle, Gladly, Intercom), these kinds of restrictions simply don’t exist. Every business operates differently, and a CRM should adapt to its clients’ needs, not enforce rigid parameters that stifle customization and growth.
This is extremely limiting for web-app like experiences. Attendance records, timesheets, inventory management, or any other app that would be dependent upon forms are severely limited with this limitation.
This is 100% needed! The limitation causes totally unecessary blockages and has resulted in lots of waisted time and resources as we try to find alternative workaronds. Similar to @JustinCredible , the forms are essential to our processes and we only found out about this cap recently, and now we have a situation where a core function of our teams work cannot be completed and records of one team members work has not been captured for 3 months! It's a huge issue. It's essential that this cap is removed, or at the very least significantly increased!
It's absolutely ridiculous that there is a form limitation. We have a community portal for people to log into, which counts as a form submission every time they log in. It's possible that people are logging in 10+ times a day, and quickly going over that 1000 form limitation.
This limitation is punishing our more engaged and active users and severely impacting the data we are collecting.
I completely agree. I need this form max limit done away with as soon as possible. I have an ordering platform that users log into. I have the Hubspot snippet on the page so I can capture brand new people that log in and track them from lead sources like Google Ads, for example. Because of this limit, we're not getting regular Hubspot form submissions from users that log in to our ordering platform often and then submit a regular Hubspot form for some other need.
