Include Associations in Deal From Conditional Logic
Hello,
I have multiple pipelines under deals. For some deals, based on the pipeline, I need to ensure they are associated to a ticket. For other pipelines they won't ever be (or need to be) associated with a ticket.
I wanted to set this as condition logic for the Create Deal Form. However this is unsupported (I double checked via the webchat)
My workaround is to create bogus tickets for the pipelines that don't need the association.
Please could you look at introducing the ability to include associations as a conditional logic property for Deal Forms.
I really need this, I would want renewals / trials / etc. deals to require deal/deal association so we know which deal it's referencing.
Also, we need to increase the deal association limit. It's currently at 1. So we can support Renewal #1, 2, 3, etc. being associated to the original contract if needed
yes please do this! I only need to require deal associations for upsell deals (ie associating new deal with old deal) but it should not be required for new business deals. To require deal associations for all upsell deals, I need to create a bogus deal to associate new business deals to 😞
+1 right here! We keep encountering this scenario as well - some deals need to be linked to our custom object, while others in a different pipeline don’t require any association. Hoping this gets addressed soon!
