Hey Hubspot -- we're seeing more and more third-party apps appearing that create and manage marketing events for you in hubspot. I'd rather not use a third party or any custom code lol.
Many of these are popping up since the HubSpot Marketing Event Object is powerful in its ability to flow into attribution reporting yet don't make it easy to track in-person event interactions.
I have reps manually adding contacts/companies/deals to a custom object, would love a native way prefereably without going through the API to allow them to add/remove contacts from a marketing event and still have it flow into attribution reports.
One of the main benefits of the custom object is their ability to hold notes + meetings as well so we can track activity at events beyond attendees and registrants.
Is there a pm I can meet with to showcase our custom object to? if so, please dm me thanks.
The titel of the feature should better be named - manually adding contacts/objects to marketing events, to speak to a broader public and gain some attention. But I definitely agree this should be a feature!
