Improved Daily Sending Limit for 1:1 Emails and Sequences

Improved Daily Email Sending Limit

Separation of daily email sending limits in HubSpot for sequence emails and 1:1 emails.

Currently, both types share the same limit, which can restrict personalized communication when sequences consume the quota.

By allowing users to set independent limits for sequences (e.g., 20-70 cold emails per day) and 1:1 emails (e.g., client follow-ups or internal communication), users gain greater flexibility and efficiency.

Example: A sales rep can send 50 sequence emails to prospects while still being able to send 10 personalized follow-up emails to high-priority clients without exceeding a shared limit.

1. Who is the feature for?

  • Audience: Sales professionals, business development representatives, and marketing teams using HubSpot for cold outreach and client engagement.
  • Use Case: Users managing a combination of cold outreach through sequences and personalized 1:1 emails.

2. What is the goal?
To efficiently manage daily email sending limits by separating sequence sending limits from 1:1 email sending limits.

This ensures no interruptions to essential personalized communication while maintaining a consistent outreach volume.

3. What value will this add?

  • Improved Workflow: Allows users to send up to 20-70 sequence emails daily without impacting their ability to send time-sensitive or personalized 1:1 emails.
  • Enhanced Productivity: Reduces manual workarounds, like pausing sequences or switching between tools.
  • Greater Flexibility: Offers more granular control over email sending, helping teams stay compliant with email guidelines while maintaining outreach consistency.

Second this. I thought this was delivered when I saw the new "Send limits", but it turns out those are for 1:1 emails.

I just ran into a case where I had sequences enrolling several contacts. At the same time I tried to send a 1:1, and it didn't allow because of by minute send limits. I then had to recreate the e-mail and resend. It didn't bounce the contact, but there was no button click or ability to reschedule that e-mail. It categorized the error in the same way it categorized bounces almost like that person should be un-emailable. That should not be the case, it should either have a button to easily resend this activity as it's a 1:1 or 1:1's could just have a limit seperated from sequencing and automation. I can't imagine 1 email over a by minute send limit will put you in bad standing. I also don't know many humans sending more than 1 email per minute and at the very most 2. Even if you are using templates, I would still be reading them to assure everything within it is exactly what I want to say to this particular customer. That's happening at most 2 per minute and that's if you're an absolute legend.
