Improve support for multiple email addresses and subscriptions for a contact
Its great that a contact can have multiple email addresses but more work needs to be done on this.
After discussing with support I discovered that I cannot merge duplicate contacts. This is why:
I have several contacts using both work and personal email addresses as separate contacts. They have chosen to subscribe for some newsletters for their personal email address and other things for their work address. Now if I merge the contacts all sucscriptions are moved to the primary email address (according to HubSpot support). I believe this will be in contradiction of GDPR - hence the contacts cannot be merged.
Users should be able to have multiple email addresses and manage which subscrtiptions go to which email address (once that email address has been opted in if appropriate). Merging contacts should preserve the subscriptions on the email addresses originally selected.
