Improve WordPress Plugin to better track "buckets" of pages

The HubSpot WordPress plugin provides web tracking & analytics, but it doesn't accurately segregate our page content into the appropriate buckets. We see blog posts in the "Website Pages" and website pages in the "Blog posts" groupings.

[Reports > Analytics Tools > Traffic Analytics > Page Analytics, select "Page types" dropdown.]

Also, it appears some of our pages are tracking in both buckets.

Could we get accurate analytics from the WordPress plugin so we can include reports of our page and section performance right within Hubspot? Such as our Marketing Dashboard, which we are trying to use internally to gauge our marketing and communications performance.  It would be fine if we needed to implement some code or something in our site with our developer.

Building on this, being able to build reports and being able to pull in tags/categories would be greatly benficial. We often build tracking dashboards for particualar topics, its really hard to properly segment content relating to different topics based on a tag, the only way it lots of manual work to keep adding urls for posts and pages - an approach that clearly doesnt scale!

We've got no intention of moving away from wordpress, but other than the CMS are fully bought into the ecosystem, we shouldnt be hobbled from using the tools we have bought effectively based on our CMS platform.
