Improve Revenue Forecasting

Dear all, 

 

I would like to suggest an improvement to the revenue forecasting. Currently we have a limited revenue analytics functionality which is based on a) closed deals and b) the close date as a start date. 

This works e.g. for SaaS companies but if we think of software projects, a reporting here is more complex. 

You have close date of a deal and a start date of a project. 

 

I am looking for a report which can show a revenue forecast of all deals (so not only closed won but every deal in a pipeline. deals which are not won should be weighted according to deal stage) where the revenue will be allocated to the month, where it will be billed. 

 

As we already have the properties in the line items (start date, month, payment plans, etc.) it would be great to improve standard revenue analytics feature by this option.
