Today, a custom report can only be manually refreshed once every 15 minutes, no less.
That means that when my reps update their predictions, or when I run a data fix, I'm forced to sit and wait 15 minutes each time I want to validate or see the new numbers.
After many years of using SalesForce, loosing the ability to make changes and immidiatly see the impact in a report is a huge downgrade which I believe many businesses that scale, will suffer from.
Has there been any update to this topic? I would like to see this enhancement as well. My reports are not refreshing as soon as I patch records in the product master table.
This dashboard refresh time limitation, makes our huspot users in the company frusrated each time. It needs to be instant! Is there a plan to imrove this feature?
I think it's unfortunate that this is an idea that needs to be "upvoted". It should be a standard product feature if you are going to enter the CRM space.
It's frustrating. As a business why would we want to way 15 mins or even hours for our reports and dashboards to reflect the the updates our teams are making so that we can have a pulse on what's happening with our business - so that we can make decisions? Huge miss on the product side, very disappointing.
This one is incredibly frustrating to me. Even clicking on the 'refresh' button doesn't work for me! Before I click the button it says 'data refreshed 1 hour ago'. I click the button then after it still says 'data refreshed 1 hour ago' shouldn't it says data refreshed 5 seconds ago??
I contacted support and they said the refresh button is working 'as designed' 🤔. What design is that? Reminds me of when an elevator has those 'close door now' buttons that are there just for illusion and don't actually do anything.
This is also a HUGE annoyance on our side. Trying to make changes and adjustments to deals, custom objhects, contacts, etc. and NOT see it instantly populate on reports is a bigtime miss. Hopefully this can be addressed asap!
I don't think you realize what an inconvenience this is and how it hinders using reports for meetings. The forecast module seems like it was designed by a different team entirely, and is not as customizable as reports so we often try to use a dashboard for one of our weekly sales meetings. When someone makes a change, and it doesn't reflect immediately, you loose that audience. Even clicking into report details seems to be taking ever longer, to the point where the latency has us changing behaviour. You can't be on a call with a CEO or board minutes waiting 20 seconds everytime you want to dig into some details, or 15 minutes to correct something.
Still very relevant suggestion. The pipeline data is the pulse indicator of a sales organisation, and having real-time updates is vital for the team leaders so they can be agile and give support where needed. For a team doing hundreds of calls a day and ideally moving deals in the pipeline constantly, old data and manual refresh with limitations is just not doing it. I suggest we all invite our team members to upvote this to get some traction.
It is crucial for developers to address this issue as it undermines the purpose of having live reports. The data is not accurate, and we are forced to waste time repeatedly refreshing to get updated information. This is extremely frustrating and needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
