Hyperlink Custom Property

It would be great if there was a custom property that could display a hyperlink like the one you see in All Deals table view. The ability to configure the displayed text, the URL, and whether or not to open the link in the current or a new window would be helpful.

Yes!

My use case includes creating a second "company" field on the contact. Not only does my contact work for a company, but they are often associated with a volunteer organization, professional society, or some other organization/association that I would like to track the same way in which I can cross-reference their employer. At a minimum, creating a hyperlink field to the associated company page would be nice.

For my use case it would be really great if I could insert one or more hyperlinks into a custom text field.

The sweet GoTo icon is nice and would link to the first URL in my text. But I can't add another link and the text is not readable with long URL strings.

<b>Go <a href="www.google.de">to Google site</a> or go <a href="www.yahoo.com">to Yahoo site</a> if you want.</b>

Go to Google or go to Yahoo if you want.

My case is that my deal will be connected to one or more contracts inside our ERP system and I would add the links to the deal via API.

Thanks for undersatnding.

Same request!
Would like to use a Custom Field in Deals as a hyperlink to a Google Document.  We could just place the hyperlink into the 'Notes' portion of Hubspot but it would be easier to access/find as a custom field on the side panels.

RC, thank you for your information. Inserting an described Link manually with the HS editor is just easy. But I can't insert HTML code to set the <a href> parameters. But this would be necessary when I want to add a Note via API. But probably there is a way and this Note must be pinned, too. But really I still want that HS delivers a custom field type to fill simple HTML code.
Maybe would be better to post a new idea?

This would certainly help to act as 'smart fields' like Pipedrive has!

We also desperately need this functionality. It would be extremely helpful for our sales and customer support teams to be able to click one button to go to our customers system URL (each customer has a unique URL for our solution) We can currently display that as seen in this picture which is a good step, but it would be even more helpful if the user could click the link to open it in a new tab like it does on the domain name located above it in the same card. URL.png

As a HubSpot Customer Support Specialist, I've had customers request this feature. It'd be highly beneifical to have this capability. Thank you team! 🙂

This would definitely help our team's current use case to have this feature. Hopefully we can see it rolled out soon. Thanks

This would be very helpful for having clickable links in the properties at a basic use level. Images may also be handy.

There is a way to do this.  I created a custom field and selected "Rich Text" as the field type.  When I click the field, a window pops up to add whatever text I want...in my case, it's a number that links to a client profile.  I go to the client profile webpage and copy it, then insert a hyperlink.  The client number is what shows in the field and when I click the field I can click an icon to go to the hyperlinked page.  It's not an ideal solution, but it works.

We would like this as commented above our clients have their own instances, currently, the URL is text only and pain having to copy n paste the URL or highlight it and select go to URL when accessing the client instance.

@PGarcha to do what I did, you may have to create a new custom property.  If your current property already has data associated with it, I don't think HubSpot will let you change the field type.

My solution takes a few extra steps up front, but they are not overly complicated and once done, it works like a charm.  I can click the links and go directly to the information I want without having to copy and paste or highlight the text.

@WHowery thank you the rich text works for me! Although the property I am copying from was a line text one I would need to add a space to make the link "actively clickable", I have decided to migrate the data to the Rich text property, although I might work on the final data to add a space and ensure the link is actually clickable and not just a text. Thank you very much for sharing this.

@BPollastrini it was my pleasure.  I'm glad the solution worked for you too.  I continue to use that method and teach it to my colleagues.  Once setup, it works quite well.  Thanks for writing.
