How can we change the Quote number format? Give us access please.

Currently the quote number is read-only which doesn't give us the ability to change the structure or update with a workflow.  Quote number example = Quote number: 20211008-002352535  😥

The current quote is extensive in length and is creating challenges for our channel customers in transcribing the quote number accurately when placing this on their Purchase Orders to us. 

A more simple quote format would be welcomed.

Have you figuered this out? I found somewhere to add info to the ref# line. I am also yet to find where to change the digits after the date.
