Having a dynamic 'today' field in the 'Time between' feature

I'm in the process of setting up calculated properties to use the new "time between" feature in reporting, and realized that, in the 'time between' calculations for properties, I'd like to have access to the option 'today,' which would be a dynamic date set as the value of today's date.

That would allow me to track dynamically how long has it been since a deal has been created ('today' minus 'create date' = how far along we are in the sales cycle up till now).

This is a must have feature for workflows!

Argh banged straight into this using calculations for the first time.

Surely this is an open goal Hubspot bunnies!

+100 on this. I used some of the workarounds, but this really is a necessary feature, critical for reporting!

I agree with the rest of the Hubspot community that a Today's Date feature is essential for reporting. “Band Aid” fixes with workflow work arounds can work in some instances but not for all reporting needs and not for all organizations.

I also have to large data exports from Hubspot into csv files and then into excel to run formulas and calculations on to get the information I need. And I flat out do not have the ability to provide some of the Pipeline health automation notifications within Hubspot that are based off of time spent in a deal stage.

Yes please. This is a must have feature.

+1 from us. We want to build reports that look x days in the past and x days into the future.

Alternatively I could also live with a native feature that allows me to build more dynamic filter options based on closed date. The ones offered are just not right.

It's wild how the Hubspot team has ignored this "must-have" feature for
years, and this community thread has been actively growing every month. I
suspect for every 1 comment here, there are 100 organizations that have
looked for this feature and gave up without writing comments.

Yes, I want to use that!

More than a year waiting for this feature and no reply from HubSpot so far.

Another glaring relative date range miss by Hubspot.

Harsh but fair!

Crazy that you can display the "days open" number on deals and tickets, but not report on it or have it reflected in a property. Come on HubSpot!

Plus one to this ask for a dynamic "today" option for the time between function. Thanks!

Also trying to do this:

Today's date - Last Activity Date = Days Since Last Activity

Please make this a priority, HubSpot! It's essential to be able to report on a "today's date" property to track days aging since a specific date or event.

something so unbelievably simple yet we still don't have it!

Please, please implement. We are trying to create a length of membership field and are having to do this outside of HubSpot.

I've written to the VP of Customer Support twice, and made more than one
support ticket for this request. Hubspot doesn't care and ignores this
thread, but they always respond with a generic "we take your community
requests seriously". The only update to Hubspot I've seen in the past year
is a weak beta feature for events.

I did a workflow workaround to create a "Today's Date" field. Then used that to calculate the "Length of Membership" field. On the contact record it shows, membership is "10 years" but when I put it in the email, it says, "31,708,800,000" because it turns it back to milliseconds!

UGH! What is the reasoning for this? HubSpot is both amazing and extremely frustrating. 😜

Definitely needed, especially the dynamic 'today' part.

Our use-case is sending out a CRS - we only want to send this if the event happened today and they meet other criteria. If the event happened in the recent past and they NOW meet the other criteria, we don't want to send the CRS.
