I think its a must that hubspot sales should start to provide the possibility of adding html templates.
We already pay 50$ per person to use more then 5 templates and in 2017 not being able to use HTML its like cutting off one leg to many companies that uses special html templates to brand their outreach to customers.
Wow HubSpot. Wow. We are on Sales Enterprise and can't do something as simple as send an on-brand email to our customers and prospects? This is an absolute fail from such an amazing company. It's actually upsetting when you look at how we are pushing to get all of our operations into HubSpot; but these guys make it hard by not enabling something so obviously required by all. It's like going to a Starbucks and being told that you can't have milk in your coffee; but you can have it in the tea.
Limiting html editing to Marketing Emails forces decisions on us which we are not happy with.
Using and paying for an outside email source for mass mailing non-marketing contacts (clients and customers who do not get general marketing materials)
Having to manage yet another integration to our HubSpot (data management, custom fields, etc.)
Limitations on sales team for customizing their own email templates
Taking time away from marketing team to create an email... but this leads back to #1
We have several cases where allowing an HTML module for sales emails is very much justified. I am tired of having to budget for an outside email service. 😳
Net Promoter Scores are a metric used to help gauge customer satisfaction (CSAT) as well as find our Champions. We also use NPS to help with Product management & development. Although many consider this a marketing metric, it is used for so much more than that. It helps to gauge a business units health, the relationships with customers, and a product's success rate.
The NPS survey is distributed to CUSTOMERS. It is not for inbound or prospecting.
We like to embed the primary question in the email. At least, if the recepient of that email doesn't respond to any of the other questions (from which the email will open if the primary question is responded to), we still get that one response which is used for NPS.
With current tech in HubSpot - we cannot use Marketing Pro to send the emails as marketing can only send out emails to marketing contacts. Most of our customers are non-marketing contacts. We would like to use the 1-1 with our sales team, but they cannot embed that first, crucial question in the email for Sales Pro doesn't have html capability in the email.
So, we must create our static list, build our NPS in an outside service (TypeForm or Servicate), and email via an outside service (MailChimp). We now use 3 different tools for reporting, management, and analysis. Future surveys (for we want to adopt a rolling NPS model) are becoming more challenging to justify when we have to continue subscribing to so many other tools. Even building out a form on a landing page for NPS within HubSpot is not appealing for we cannot capture that ONE first response from within an email.
I have more use cases... maybe will post them. NPS is my trigger right now.
Here is my quarterly check for this feature as I am once again having to look at using some other mass-mailer service for SALES COMMUNICATIONS to non-marketing contacts since our sales team cannot use HTML in their email templates.
It is getting harder to justify HubSpot for our Sales team who keep crying out for this feature.
HTML support for sales email templates is beyond long overdue...this should have been part of v1.0. Very dissapointed that such basic functionality is missing.
This would be a gamechanger for us. We're having to build incredibly complicated (and not 100% accurate) workflows to simulate sequences with marketing emails that speak much more to our audience. Essential!!
