Use Google Voice phone number while calling or texting prospects and customers to utilize HubSpot functionality to track and make notes/follow up tasks. That would allow me to use one phone for both personal and business use with two different phone numbers.
I will continue bumping this post and petitioning requests for this.
I do not want a separate company, entity, or service for each imperative feature.
Additionally, I'm very surprised that Hubspot has still not yet integrated text messaging/logging as a method of tracking communications with contacts. They haven't even added a button to MANUALLY log a text to a contact. The only options are still just phone call or email. =/
This would be amazing! You already have all the google integrations, putting google voice in there would be a great addition and further your relationship with Google. Please do this asap!
Upvoting! Google Voice, though not as popular as some other VoIPs, is easy to use within smaller businesses. I'd love to see the ability to integrate into HubSpot, logging calls, texts, and Voicemails.
The Google Voice chrome extension does allow for easy calling out of HubSpot, which is the current work around.
Just pinging this again because it's 2023 and would still love Gvoice integration if possible! Even if it just linked to Gvoice to track Text/Call history. Would be a great first step.
Unfortunately, our company is switching to another CRM with more relevant features - I hope HS catches up soon - I've used it for over 8 years, and I'm sad to switch. 😢
This makes sense because our global sales team uses Google everything. The phone providers that are currently integrated with Hubspot charge over three times more than what Google charges per phone number with unlimited calling.
