Google Chat Integration with Hubspot Conversations

Please create Google Chat integration with Conversations, so we can respond to messages within a Google Chat Room. Basically, we are looking for a similar integration to what has been done with the Hubspot Conversations Integration with Slack, but for Google Chat.

@ChristianNewman Right now, the HubSpot bot has to be added to the space in order for us to fetch it. This can be done by either @ mentioning the bot from the space you want it added to or by clicking the space name, navigating to Apps & Integrations, clicking Add Apps, and adding it that way. This is a temporary limitation we're going to address asap. Let me know if that worked!

Hi everyone! I'm happy to share we just released the new integration with Google Chat to public beta today! The integration supports HubSpot notifications, custom notifications via HubSpot workflows, connection to HubSpot Inbox, and connection to HubSpot help desk workspace. You should see the ability to opt into the beta from "Product Updates" in your HubSpot portal. Once you opt in, you'll be able to access the marketplace listing page for the integration and install it. Please feel free to DM me with any questions or feedback.

Hi All, my name is Vlad - I'm on the Product team at HubSpot. Wanted to update you all that we are currently building an integration with Google Chat and are hoping to launch it in Q3 of this year. The intitial version will include things like notification support, workflow actions for custom notifications, and connecting the integration to Inbox and Help desk for conversations and tickets. Most small-ish companies (mine included) already use G-Suite which comes with Google Chat. Google Chat does everything slack does now, so we are opting to not pay for Slack and just use Google Chat as our internal chat solution. Please add Google Chat support to conversations. Slack isn't the only game in town anymore.

Is this still be considered / worked on by Hubspot? The conversatoins function in Hubspot if horrific for a variety of reasons and a robust integration with Google Chat may make things more manageable within Service Hub. Without this, we will likely need an improved service tool like Zendesk but trying to hold out to avoid an annoying migration.

@drafeedie I first commented on this thread in May 2022. since then I gave up, downgraded our HubSpot account and we've started rebuilding our tech stack to deliver the experience we're looking for. It **bleep**, and avoiding a migration is a great objective, but don't get your hopes up in the short term...

We have now been waiting for a year for this. Paying 20,000€+ annually for Hubspot, its difficult to understand how such a basic integration to something as popular as google chat is missing. 

Hubspot, do act on this. At least for us, this will be a dealbreaker for scaling our support functions through Hubspot.
