GoToWebinar Integration

Hello hubspot community,

if you also use the GoToWebinar integration, the following topic might be interesting for you.

After a webcast, you can link the recording to the webcast in GoToWebinar. If someone calls the GoToWebinar login link of the webcast after the webcast has ended, they will be forwarded directly to the video. This information is then also transmitted to Hubspot.

It would therefore be very good if the link between the Hubspot form and the corresponding GoToWebinar registration link would remain even after the webcast has ended. Currently the link is lost after the webcast has ended.
(I imagine that at the beginning of 2019 the following scenario worked: Creation of a landing page, integration of a form including direct link to the respective webcast from GoToWebinar. After the webcast expired, the webcast was still available for selection and was still linked to the form, so that visitors of the LP who filled out the form after the webcast expired were automatically taken to the recording. )

Following a webcast, participants and non-participants will receive a follow-up email from GoToWebinar. The webcast recording is linked to this e-mail. We noticed that this information is not displayed in the respective contact in Hubspot when the person gives his or her data. It would be nice if this information would also be transferred to Hubspot. This is probably because the video link is different than the registration link (even if they refer to the same video). Example:
Link in follow-up email: https://register.gotowebinar.com/recording/430747281505744652
Registration link: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/472958631808472847

Many greetings

Carolin

I totally agree! Generally, we do not mind if registrants do not follow the webinar live and watch the recording at a later date. Sadly, in Hubspot we currently can not access that information properly. Right now, we do need to check gotowebinar for the recording data. I would love to see the possibility to, e.g., filter for contacts that have seen either the live boradcast or the recording.

Furthermore, the actual duration of attendance is also crucial to determine the "worth" of the given contact. A person who watched the recording in full is truly more interested in our topics than someone who attended the webinar itself only for a minute or two. Sadly, only the latter will be provided with properties that we can use to create listes for our sales-team.

Please consider these things for future developments.
