The current global search is inadequate and is in desperate need of an upgrade.
It is highly unreliable, often not showing results even when it is searched using exact keywords. The filtering options need to be more narrowed down as well.
In our company, each salesperson has access to a specific list of clients, and when searching for notes, the results come back with every note that includes the keywords, regardless of ownership/access. The way we have been able to get around the other issue, which is the "global search" not returning any results, is by having our salespeople sign out of HubSpot completely and sign back in. For obvious productivity reasons, this is not an ideal solution and is disliked by everyone using the system. I found a few other community posts regarding this same issue dating back to 2018 which have still not been answered adequately. An issue as large as this, and HubSpot's willingness to acknowledge and work towards a fix, will be one of the deciding factors when the time comes to renew our contracts.
