GitHub integration, similar to the Jira one, for Service Hub
We use GitHub (and ZenHub, which is built on top of it) for our software development and its project managment. We would love to see a new integration that replicates the functionality of Service Hub's existing Jira integration. This should allow us to create GitHub issues from HubSpot support tickets, or find and attach an existing GitHub issue to a new support ticket in HubSpot. Additionally, when an issue is closed or its status is otherwise update in GitHub by developers, that information should be sent to HubSpot so that it appears in the ticket to keep our support team and customers up to date, allowing for workflows to be triggered etc.
Fully agree with @joecarroll that "being able to ("auto")create GitHub issues from HubSpot support tickets, or find and attach an existing GitHub issue to a new support ticket in HubSpot+++ is highly beneficial.
I assume that the fact that, GitHub(as of January 2020) reports having over 40 million users and more than 190 million repositories (including at least 28 million public repositories), making it the largest host of source code in the world, should set this high at the priority list 🙂
We would very much like this feature as well. Our development team uses GitHub to manage tasks, and a direct integration between HubSpot and GH would be amazing for us.
yes, this is needed. As someone who built a process with another company around HubSpot to Jira. Would be amazing to have the same with Zenhub as the miss the link from HS deal to RD tickets in Zenhub
