So needed! There's a lot that could get miscontrued by lumping all deal types together to a revenue goal and that's just not the case. If a deal is pulled forward or pushed out perhaps it becomes supplemental to the goal and shouldn't be counted. The ability to filter within forecasting would allow our team to isolate true progress towards the goal within 1 pipeline where they might be a couple of different deal types. We need to better understand where our true pipeline coverage is and where focus may be needed.
I agree with this strongly. Our deal "Amounts" contain a lot of passthrough revenue. What I need to forecast, and what our sales reps are accountable for, is ARR. Unfortunately as-is the forecast tool is not usable for us, for this reason.
