I think it would be very beneficial that alongside forecasting recognized revenue, we could as well use the forecasting tool for products sold to quantify the amount of product it took to reach our revenue goal. In our business model, we offer hardware and services and the deal amount tends to be very unique. We would like to set a forecasting goal for the number of products/services sold through HubSpot automatically.
Example: We have a custom deal property labeled as "Number of Plates Sold". We could use that property to then create a forecasting amount of plates sold for Q3 &Q4.
we need to forecasts sales for each date that the training course takes place and channel sales team members efforts towards driving sales for dates/products that need the most new bookings.
if we added a new instance of the product for each date the course/product is run then we would like then to show the forecast in a annual forecast calendar with annual taregt and then actuals for each date, weighted forecast based on deals in deal stages etc.
