Let me give an example of very simple trigger, which i cant to realize in workflow. Our case: we have a managers who hold several meetings with our clients (up to 6, to be exact). There are several tasks about this case: 1. Some clients do not come to the scheduled meeting that they have agreed to (in the past, they could already come to any other meeting). The task is to send such users an email with an offer to re-register for a meeting. 2. Those users who came to the meeting immediately after it, i need to send an email with a survey. It is important to remember that user may have come to meetings earlier, and that there may be a lot of such meetings in total - it is important for us to send a survey for the last one meeting that just happened.
