How does this not exist? There are folders to organize workflows, but not reports or dashboards. This is a major oversight. I have found numerous discussions here and elswhere with many other folx interested in this feature. Can we please get this on the table for review? It should be a pretty straightforward architectural change. Would love to hear from someone in product management on this, perhaps there is a reason that is does not yet exist?

At the moment, folders for reports and dashboards are not on the roadmap. Instead, the team is actively investing in other organizational improvements that aim to solve the same need. There are two specific ones that are being focused on currently:
Custom Tags(currently in private beta): This lets users categorize and group reports/dashboards flexibly.
Views (in progress, not yet in beta): Similar to the index pages, these will make it easier to filter and quickly find the right content. Together, these improvements are intended to provide the benefits of folders, but in a more flexible and scalable way.
If any changes were to occur in regards to folders specifically, I'll update this post to let you all know. In the meantime, keep an eye out for updates on those two features that will help solve for this need. Thank you!

This would be a very useful feature and I don't understand why it was not implemented already to be honest. I know from experience with other systems that after several years hundreds of reports can exist, and with no organisation this becomes messy and difficult to manage.
