Filter by form submission date

We have created a "request demo" chart in order to track how many submissions we have per month. However, this is not possible as we are looking to track the month the form has been submitted but this is not an available filter.

Dear @SRoskvist , you mean no. of submissions (contacts) cumulated per month (create date) of a certain form (over a filter)?

Are these new contacts or also existing ones?

Exactly! It's a mix between both new and exsisting contacts.

Also have a need for this, filter by submissions of last week

seems the only way possible is to create a report of those whose Create Date was last week and then we can see form submissions of last week for new contacts...but not the mix of existing and new as mentioned in the previous comment

thanks

As someone who is not currently in HubSpot CRM, having a centralized place for teammates to enter leads based on recency is important. While a contact may submit multiple conversion actions, we'd like to log all of those into our CRM. A view like this with an option to sort by time of most recent conversion would be  a game changer. I'm honestly surprised this isn't already a preset.

You can get at most of what you are trying to do by going to Marketing --> Lead Capture --> Forms. That dashboard will show you a list of your forms and how many submissions they have, and can be filtered by date.

This is so essential

Yes! I've been wanting a "Date Submitted" filter for ages! Would be so useful.

Hi there,

I've found two options to do this:
1. [less flexible] Go to Marketing -> Lead capture -> Forms -> Your chosen form

In the tab, you have the 'submissions' report and you can save it (right upper corner) to later use it in any dashboard.

2. [more flexible, but works only if you set it up before launching the form]

Create a new date property and name it like 'Form X submission date'. Next, set up a workflow that will trigger upon Form X submission and will set a time stamp in the 'Form X submission date' property. In the settings tab, you can decide whether you want the workflow to only trigger once or always when the contact fills the form. You can then use this property to create a dashboard.

Hope it helps 🙂

We base our leads off of form submissions. We are a b2b with pretty long sales processes and bid on govt contracts. MANY leads never turn into sales the first time and some of these prospects have been in the system up to 10 years or more, or are repeat customers that prefer to submit a quote request online. I have found that trying to accurately report leads from HubSpot takes up almost my ENTIRE Friday every week because there is no report that tells you ALL form fills, this only reports new contacts and its pretty useless. I know that I can't be the only one and probably most companies do not realize this so many people are probably reporting in accurate data. I have tried every which way to create an accurate report and its impossible so I am left to manually go through my email for contact "re-conversions" which when checking against my reporting these people are NOT reported as form fills and its really frusterating. I do this as well as manually review the 50+ forms we have on our sites. This process gets tedious and confusing, for a platform that is supposed to be so user-friendly it really is a terrible user experience. When you pay obscene amounts of money for a platform you really expect to get more than what HubSpot is giving. Seems like HubSpot really dropped the ball on this.

Desperately needing this functionality. Lots of those request seem like these are fairly simple and straight forward tasks for an internal dev team to implement. And I do wonder why some of those  basic request have not been adressed for years.

We use Hubspot meetings to book demos, rather than forms. I would like to report on the date the meeting was booked.

I have the similar reequirements. This submit date is what we need as new functionality.

Edit: I just realized I could create a list filtering based on form submissions by date using the "Refine this filter" option.

This should be a simple filter. Any workarounds are useless when you have multiple forms.  We have hundreds of different forms with different content download and we need to compare conversion rate within a given time. It's exhausting to export data for each individual form within a time period.

This would be super essential for us.

I need this filter as well,

HubSpot used to have better form analytics that they got rid of a few years ago for ?? reasons ?? - you used to be able to effortlessly generate reports that compared submissions from different forms over a certain length of time.

I think this is on the list of things they don't really care about, but here's a list of other active posts to up-vote, in case ya'all want to keep the pressure on HS to fix what they broke -
