I would like the ability to filter a dashboard by ANY field. Right now the only options are: Date, Owner, Teams, Deal / Ticket Pipeline. We want to filter by a custom field called Products, or antoher called Type.
Really, really need this :(. I've got a custom object and we have "Account Manager" and "Team" as one of the custom properties. I need to filter all the reports on my dashboard with these two properties.
We're using Hubspot's Custom Owner Property options so that our business development reps and account managers for different products and verticals can share ownership of contacts that overlap in their sectors. This is a great option: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/crm-setup/how-to-set-an-owner
The problem is this basically breaks all of the standard Hubspot sales reports/dashboards, because only the default "Contact Owner" is treated as the "owner" for any contact-based metrics -- the "Custom" owners drop out of the results.
We can create custom reports based on this property to fill in some of the gaps, but it'd be much easer if the default dashboards and reports would allow for filtering on the Customer Owner vs. default Contact Owner properties, instead of only being limited to the regular Contact Owner...
Or, even in the scenario of creating a dashboard from scratch, populated with custom reports that use the custom fields -- even then the Dashboard-level ownership filter is still only based around the regular Contact Owner field, with no access to Custom Owner properties as filters, making the Dashboard-level filter rather useless in these scenarios.
Definitely need this for filtering individual dashboards to measure rep performance. We may have up to 3 reps working on a deal in different capacities. Right now Deal Owner is my only option. I need to filter on other fields and not make and maintain extra dashboards 😞
Use Case: For professional service organisations, it's is often preferred to have a dashboard per client for account management teams. The only option available now is to clone every report for each client. This means creating 100+ duplicate reports when we could have our standard reports + utilise a custom dashboard filter instead.
Two years this has been on the list, to no avail! The bleeding is profuse - hundreds and hundreds of dashboards out there due to having to clone them! Come on, HubSpot!
This is a must have feature - current set-up seems like a major shortcoming of overall reporting capabilities of the platform. We have internal users who are assigned responsibility for deals and need to generate deals, but aren't tracked as Deal Owners; instead we track them through a deal property drop-down. We want to have a single dashboard with multiple component reports that display based on specific individuals and filter only for deals where the user is assigned through the property drop-down, therefore we need the ability in the dashboard to add that property field as a filtering option.
+1 - there are risks in requiring individual reports to have specific filters (it's not clear to the audience, and then reports get edited and cloned purely because of this).
This feature is also essential for marketing dashboards. Being able to filter all reports by Channel for instance.
For example, we have several marketing reports breaking down our traffic and contacts based on factors such as location, buyer persona, lead/deal status etc.
But if we want to look at how organic traffic specifically is performing for these metrics, to assess the impact of our SEO efforts, we have to clone that dashboard and edit each individual module to filter by organic.
In Google Analytics this is easily done using segments, but HubSpot doesn't have this functionality. Being able to filter dashboards by any field (or at least more of the most commonly used ones) would be an extremely useful addition.
This is seriously needed. Geographically my team has to create separate teams for each region they oversee. If we had this we would just use our own property and there would be no need for anything else.
