Field property limit

Our company creates comprehensive reports for our strategic partners that often includes 30+ fields "properties". The custom built report in HubSpot does not allow you to exceed 20 fields.

I understand that there may be a limit to the number of fields, but 20 seems way too low.

Help me understand why the field limit cannot be increased.

Thank you

Definitely agree. Seems nonsensical that you can add an unlimited amount of columns in the 'list' part of deals but cant add more than 20 properties in a custom report. When essentially they're the same.

I totally agree. Also because reports are the only way to merge Company and Deal properties...so it is abolutely mandaroty, at least in a table report, to have more than 20 fields reported by column

Why is there no reply to this?  This is a massive shortcoming.

We have HubSpot Enterprise and we only can have 20 columns in a report/export??

This is extremely hard to believe.

Can  someone please comment?

An increased limit would be appreciated. I'm trying to report on survey responses in a way that displays contact information (i.e. company name), rather than the contact's full name only. Either allowing us to manage columns in feedback surveys, or increasing the column limit in custom reports would help. Not sure why it's so limited now. Frustrating.

I just spoke with HubSpot support and there is no current Roadmap item for increasing the limit above 20. I requested that it was added. The only way to get more than 20 Properties in a report is to create multiple HubSpot reports of up to 20 Properties and then export the reports to your favorite spreadsheet application and merge the reports.

There also isn't a way to create a View with Properties from more than one Object, so you can't create a View that contains both Deal and Company Properties...

Agree with the others - seems like a basic limitation for a platform that's meant to handle complex reporting.

This is so needed, we have a big need for a larger report of data.

New to the system and just found out that you can't have more than 20 properties in a custom report. Completely agree that this should be changed.

@CRavenda  mentioned above that this is needed, AT LEAST IN A TABLE report.  Please minimally make this possible for a Table report that has no complex graphing/grouping requirments.  I can understand wanting to reduce the number of data inputs for a complex report, but I bet many users just simply need to export data to an excel file, and need more columns.  Many of us pay for more features, so this seems like a very strange constraint to enforce.

This is absolutely necessary! How are we supposed to view Company and Deal information with this limitation for instance? Please increase this limit ASAP. Thank you!

How have years gone by and still nothing has changed?! I'm still IndexMatching multiple reports together so I can maniuplate the data in excel. I agree that the table report needs to have more columns/properties available, seems so basic!

This limitation Hubspot enforces creates a very bad user experience. This limit should be removed or raised to at 30-40 at minimum.

I'm struggling with this limitation when I'm creating a line item report that I need to enrich with properties from the related Deal and also the Company,

First of all - Hubspot says that for tabular reports you should just go to the list view and save that as a new "view" - BUT - Hubspot does not provide a list view for line items.

Second, I specifically need the Report because I want to make a Dashboard, but then Hubspot doesn't allow me to reference the report more than once!

In my previous Salesforce BI role I was creating detailed reports left right and center and referencing them again and again again in dashboard for different visuals so that I could maximize stakeholder utility of those dashboards and promote Salesforce adoption. Hubspot is not making this element easy for me to be a brand ambassador in my current role.
