Exporting Knowledge Base articles

It will be nice if there's an option to export KB articles 🙂 As we do have the option to do so in website pages, landing pages and blogs.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for taking the time to submit your feedback.

We definitely will build export functionality for the knowledge base. However, I don't know when we'll have the resources to do this work. Right now, our teams are focused on finishing the multi-language knowledge base features, multi-language blog, and some other projects to improve content management throughout the content tools. So even though we do plan to build export functionality, I am going to mark this idea as "not currently planned" (emphasis on currently!) because we've not yet decided when the work will be done.

I'm sorry, I know this is disappointing. This is one of biggest needs for the knowledge base, and we will keep it top of mind as we plan for KB's future.

Important Update! You can now export all your knowledge base articles by following the instructions on this article

Furthermore, if you would like to export your Insights, you can go to Reports > Traffic Analytics > Pages. You can get the number of visitors, time spent on page, etc.

Truly shocked to find that this functionality does not exist. This makes it an absolute nightmare to administer and manage content.

The abitly to export a pdf of a knowledge base article is a must.

Please change the status from "Not Currently Planned" to Selected for Development.

+1. A .csv file doesn't solve the issue for us, it should be in pdf.

For many of our clients in secure areas, the lack of export capability for our HubSpot knowledgebase is a show-stopper. This is an absolute requirement.

Hi,

As other users pointed out, we need to be able to export the Knowledge Based in PDF. Here are 3 features that we need:

  • Export one article in PDF.
  • Export the whole Knowledge Base in one PDF.
  • Export selected articles in one PDF.

Also, it would be a must to be able to choose the language of the articles that we export for articles that use multilanguage.

Thank you,

CSV is not helpful, I need the article text. REceiving the HTML text is not helpful at all.

We would appreciate having the functionality to export knowledge base articles as PDF for our customer's use.

Generating PDF Knowledgebase exports does not appear to be a priority for HubSpot. It is a high priority for many of us, which should tell HubSpot something.

Agree with the points made by Raph above.

In our case, a PDF export option would mean that we could use the Hubspot Knowledge Base instead of having to invest time and money in a separate CCMS.

+1, CSV includes all the raw HTML in the content, which makes it even more unusable
