SERIOUSLY. We have to submit forms to a company (DHL) in a very specific order. While being able to "consolidate" the submitters onto one form is great (a bump up from having to process them one by one), but having to rearrange 20+ columns for 20+ people every day is an absolute pain. Hoping to see this feature soon.
This feature is very important to our company! Thank you to the HubSpot employee who has created this ticket, hopefully we will see this feature/bug addressed in the near future.
Can't believe something as simple as this is not in the product. If anyone at Hubspot has ever worked with exported lists they'd know what we are talking about here.
Another obstacle is that when you add a new field to the very end (right) of the list - it appears to the far right in View, but as an Export it can show up as Column C!
If you add a new field to the end of the report - it should appear in the export as the last column.
Wish I could upvote 100 times. What's the point of having the option to reorder in HubSpot when it can't be transferred to the excel. So much manual work with chances of something getting messed up.
Seems like such a simple ask and would make a lot of users happy, yet to this day it's not available. Hopefully it's on the radar as a top fix.
Definitely something recently changed. I have never had an issue with an export not displaying properties in the order of my view before. HubSpot is telling me that now this is the expected behavior! I hope not. I don't need anymore time added to me sorting through spreadsheets.
I think I found a way around this. When I want to export a report as a table (.csv or Excel), I have to look at the Data tab and make sure the properties are in the desired order THERE. Don't look at the Visualization tab unless your audience will view the table online. When I have arranged the Data in the desired sequence, it exports in the desired sequence.
Shouldn't be necessary to dink around with it so much, but at least there is a work around. Hope this helps.
