I think it would be great to have the option to export workflows.
Often I have to provide information about the structure of the workflow, and as these can be sometimes quite complecated - it would be great to be able to just export them as excel or pdf... I think it is much needed.
It would be amazing if Workflow maps could be exported in the same diagram view they exist, with the only exception being that it would fit to a page (or within specified dimensions). Even better if there was some way users could import them into Powerpoint or Keynote (or other tool), where the triggers and actions would be visible at mouseover.
Another idea is to somehow integrate the workflow diagrams to LucidCharts, Vizio, Cacoo, Omnicharts, or other diagramming software. I want to be able to present the workflows to other teams without having to redraw them separately.
Right now, I have to really play with the code just to get a full page screenshot.
Agreed, this would be a great feature. I use Fireshot (a chrome extension) to capture the entire page. It's not perfect, but it usually gets it into a format that I can use without having to mess with the code itself.
This is essential. We must be able to backup workflows to guard against user error. Deleting a single if-than branch can destroy a company's marketing strategy.
I suggest adding the possibility of exporting workflows and importing them. It would be very helpful especially for clients that, such as myself, work with extremely complex workflows, that connect with each other with several variables in each step and a lot of if/then interjections.
This would be great to serve as both a visualizer of the workflows for internal documentation, as for, in my opinion the most important part, the backup of the information, as there are needed tens of hours to build those workflows and automation lines.
In my opinion, the existence of a backup and a history of alterations in the sense of being able to track any alteration and go back to previous versions if needed should be an obligation when you provide a tool that can reach high levels of complexity.
I think this would be really beneficial for me as i often markup or work with workflows, i also like to annotate these so it would be great to see the feature added onto Hubspot.
