Export Workflow History

Peterson

It would be great to export the data that you see in the history tab of the workflows, including dates of contact enrollment, meets the goal, finishes the workflow, who has errors, etc.

Hey everyone! 👋

I’m Sierra, the new Product Manager for this feature area at HubSpot.

I can see this idea has been open for quite a while and has gathered a ton of great feedback, so thank you for sharing your thoughts and use cases!

I know that many of you are looking for better ways to export workflow history data. Today, you can export workflow history to a Segment (formerly called a List) and then export that Segment (List) to a CSV file.

Does this approach meet your needs, or are there specific types of data or use cases it doesn’t solve for?

I’m also collecting a bit more information to help us better understand how you’re using (or trying to use) this data — especially if you’re moving it into other HubSpot tools or external systems. If you’re open to sharing, please take a minute to fill out this quick form (just a few questions!).

I may also reach out for a short chat to go deeper on use cases. Thanks again for helping make HubSpot better! 💛

The current error reporting for workflows is ridiculous! It is so labor intensive to do anything with. They do have a tab for workflows that have errors within the last week, but otherwise you have to click through your workflows one by one, go to the Details > Action Logs and filter by errors. Even there you can't see how many errors there are, it is just a list with x-number of errors and a "load more" button. Want to download them like you can for list import errors? Nope! Want to clear the errors you've fixed so that it no longer shows as an active error? Nope!

Totally a need. Specially when you need to check for errors.

Great idea!

I would add the option to do this via API as well; using a contact's ID to pull their workflow enrollment history

I add myself to the queue of people waiting for this to happen.

Totally agree. Don't know why it is not there yet

From an operational and scaling standpoint, this would be very helpful, especially with helping stakeholders understand how their program is doing.

Or just be able to report on when people entered the workflow. When they exited. When they met the goal.

This would definitely be a game changer in tracking workflow activity.

This would be incredibly helpful, and I imagine would take some load of HS Support by making it easier for users to investigate workflow issues independently

Please make this happen. It will provide a perfect way to understand why contacts are unenrolled and if we're seeing any leaks in the funnel.

This is critical. At the very least please provide an API endpoint that supports pagination of the data.

+1 on this! It would be even greater to have workflow statistics in the reports.

+1 to this idea. I need to correct an error and viewing each contact one by one is not feasible

This is an absolute need! I can't believe it's been 3 years since this idea was submitted with so many upvotes and it hasn't changed to at least in review! Please, please HubSpot!

HubSpot is so annoying.. Almost good—then they ignore user requests and build a weird sub-par AI chat that no one wants.. Shame.
