Enhanced meeting scheduling for HubSpot user scheduled meetings
Currently, the meetings scheduling tool in a HubSpot record is more limiting than it should be.
The HubSpot user is only able to create meetings in 15-minute increments and they cannot see their calendar to determine their availability. These are both features that are available to contact scheduling a meeting from the meetings tool and if the user schedules the meeting from their calendar client. Additional functionality that is added when a contact schedules a meeting through the meetings tool is the ability to configure an emailed meeting reminder.
The desired functionality would be to have all of the capability that exists when building a meeting link also available when scheduling a meeting from a contact record. So when the user goes to schedule a meeting from within a HubSpot record it would be nice to be able to see the selected week in the calendar and see a free busy view of the week, schedule the meeting for duration wanted, and have the ability to schedule a meeting reminder email. The additional option to select an existing meeting that has been created would be a good way to speed up the meeting scheduling process.
This is a great idea that I hope HubSpot picks up on. However, it would be a bit of a disservice not to inform you that this feature doesn’t already exist somewhere. Chili Piper offers a somewhat similar feature to what you described. Sales representatives provide leads through email a link with their available timeslots. Leads can then book with just one click, all from their inbox.
This is a much faster way than going back and forth about the date and time when all parties are available and then having to agree on a mutually free time. It saves time and is much more convenient. Think of it like this. A dozen emails can be replaced by just one email with Chili Piper's scheduling integration.
