Currently, there is no separate setting to edit permissions for meetings and other activity (besides tasks). We need the ability to enable separate permissions for meetings.
In our case, SDRs create and set up initial meetings, which are then logged against the company/deal/contact records. These flow over from Outlook automatically. We then need the deal owner (a different person) to be able to edit the meeting type and outcome of the meeting so that it flows into our activity tracker.
We need this too! Can't quite believe it's not possible for anyone other than admins to edit meetings set up for them by other people. It makes no sense!
