Enable Data Validation Rules for Default HubSpot Properties

The Data Validation rules are a nice touch but the fact they can only be set for custom properties is very limiting. The goal is to let us set character limits and other validations for these properties since they're often the most used.

This will add a lot of value for integrations where the system being integrated with has some of these hardset validation rules.

The biggest example is the Title property for Contacts. The ERP system we integrate with has a set limit of 40 characters.

This is a great idea. I would love to see this function for Amount on deal level.

When can we apply validation to phone numbers, or get a list of contacts without a valid phone number?

Hi, is there any way to add a validation rule that has a restriction to fill a number property with a sequence like "00000000" or "1111111111" etc? 🤔

@rwebb1 It's great that this feature is now live, and so is "CRM & Live Validation on Forms" — however, why does the live validation on forms only apply to custom properties? Since we can now apply validation rules to HubSpot default properties, surely that same validation should extend to forms the same way it does with custom properties.

Example that has brought me to this thread: I have set up validation on our Postal Code field to help ensure our UK postcodes are entered correctly. However, the majority of our referrals/applications come through HubSpot forms and the validation doesn't apply there. This means we are still getting contacts with invalid postcodes despite the validation rules, and we have to manually update these in the CRM.
