Emails sent cap or limit on how many emails a contact can receive in a given time range

It would be great to add a simple if/then and emails received is greater than X within the last X days then add them to a suppression list we can then add to every email send?

Limit the amount of communications on a per contact basis including automated emails.

Hi all, some good news on this, we're released a feature called "Send Freqency Cap" which is available as part of the Marketing Hub Enterprise tier which enables exactly this. This would be huge - especially if you have marketing AND sales sending emails to the same prospects, would keep them from getting bombarded.

I am shoked that this is not a feature. It is pretty much a native functionality for most advanced automation platforms - at least in the ecomm realm.

Agreed - especially as we are rolling out the Sales tool, this would be really helpful to avoid overwhelming prospects and customers from both marketing and sales emails.

Hey you guys, I think I just figured out a way to limit email communications.

 

Create a new Active List>Contact Property>Last email send date>Is less than 7 days ago

Save.

 

Then in your workflows add that list to your Suppression lists. If it's an Active list, it should work. I'm testing it now.

 

Does this make sense?
