I am the manager of a building business, and it would be great to be able to select the permissions of an attachment included in an email sent via Hubspot and/or the permissions of a document hyperlinked into an email sent from Hubspot.
In our business we do alot of up front work, with no cost to the customer, so we want to be able to show the customer the work we have compelted, but in the early stages of the process, we want to protect our IP and not give it all away for the customer to take it to another company. Being able to select permissions within hubspot itself I think would bring a lot of value to my business and others.
Furthermore if an option to have the viewing link expire after a chosen amount of time could also bring value.
Hi, my name is Mark Miller, and I'm the Product Manager for Permissions at HubSpot. Have you looked into our Public Beta for CRM Email Permissions? If you click on your portal name in the top right you will see a drop down that has the section Product Updates. Within Product Updates, search "CRM Email" where you'll see a new feature that we're working on, which is in Public Beta. You are allowed to join that Public Beta and test out the permission!
This new permission will allow you to control which users have access to the emails that are sent from within HubSpot, which then controls whether a user can view an attachment that was part of the email.
Let me know if you have further feedback after testing this out!
