Editing Custom Invoicing Properties

RMandel

It is very important that I am able to edit custom invoicing properties. For example, when we create an invoice in hubspot, we then need to upload that invoice into quickbooks. I created a custom property but I am unable to edit it. I included an screenshot below of the property that I would like to use. This has been mentioned on a thread previously https://community.hubspot.com/t5/CRM/Update-Invoice-Custom-Properties-Value/td-p/944553

Same here, it is difficult to understand how it was possible to create properties when not being able to edit them also.

Yes, this feature should be implemented. We encountered a similar issue with one of our clients. As a workaround, we created a sync property in the Invoices object and used the associated object (Deals, in our case) to update it. Finally, we added this property as a column in the Invoices view for the client.

YES pls. I need at least one of the following:

- Ability to edit invoice properties (in bulk)

- Ability to edit invoice properties via workflow

- A HS default field that says OVERDUE=TRUE. I need to be able to aggregate the number + amount of invoices overdue at the company level which I cannot do right now via rollup.

I agree. As we transition away from XTRF and adapt our workflows to HubSpot, we have encountered a significant limitation around editing invoicing properties.

While we appreciate HubSpot’s broader capabilities, this restriction is proving highly impractical in real-world use. Invoicing often requires legitimate post-creation adjustments, and the inability to do so introduces unnecessary operational friction and risk.

We strongly believe this limitation does not reflect how businesses actually operate and would welcome a review of this functionality. Thank you.
