I am suggesting that it should be possible to edit the "Entered Stage X" dates in deals. If a rep falls behind in tracking their deals through the appropriate stages it would be great if it was possible to change the date to the actual closed-won date for example rather than the automatically system generated date they updated the stage?
@hubspot this is really needed for all the reasons mentioned above - most especially for migrating historical data into HS - so we can get rid of old records rather than reporting out of two systems as we transition.
Please make this happen Hubspot team. We had to restructure our Pipelines and that also means that all our deals got wrong dates now. It would help us a lot to be able to change those dates.
This would be a very useful feature, especially for smaller companies without dedicated sales people working HubSpot each day, or for those working part time. It's not possible to get time to convert data without this.
Has this been implimented yet? Is there any workaround or admin tools to change the "entered stage date"? It is crucially needed for reporting as we have adjusted processes and deal stages over the years.
I need to be able to do this!!!! i've built out a new pipeline which is so much better than what we were doing before, however, when I moved all of the deals over, the dates all changed to that date. I need to do some analytics and I need to get the dates updates and enrolled into a workflow!
Same as KJAM87! I edited my pipeline based on arriving at product/market fit and actually understanding our real stages. And now, there's no way for me to see how dates of specific events (related to deals being moved into stages) predict future sales outcomes. I really really need this! Seem like an easy update too?
