I love the forecasting feature in hubspot but it doesn't consider the time that is left for the month, which is especially missleading for companies with longer sales cycles. A deal in Contract sent is not 90% probable to convert till the end of the month if it's already the 28th.
This leads to the problem that the forecast gets higher to the end of the month (More deals are won, but deals in other stages are weighted the same) but it should actually be getting closer the amount that is already closed.
The idea would be:
In addition to the win probability it should be possible to set win probabilitys for mid month and end of month.
The forecasting would be more precise that way as we could have this set up:
