With a big databse of both companies and contacts, inevitably there will be cases of duplicate records. Especially when HubSpot can only alert through very specific data hooks (domain, email - both of which are not always guaranteed to be present).
The current way to de-duplicate and merge is very tedious. It either requires a lot of manual work. Even using the de-duplicating tool is a slow process as it still needs to be done one by one, and in cases double check to see which is the "main" entry.
What we need instead is the option to mass merge through import!
By simply adding in a sheet two columns with the object IDs, first column having the "main" entry ID then having the "to be merged" entry ID.
