We are using the conversations inbox tool for managing our shared email accounts. Any emails going into the conversations inbox are automatically linking to the 5 most recently created open deals that are associated to the contact that emailed one of our shared email accounts.
This is a big issue for us as we regularly have multiple open deals with the same client, and the client will send us separate emails about those different deals. The system is currently auto-logging all of those emails to several deals, which means we are getting in a complete mess. There are emails all over the place linked to deals that they have no relevance to.
We need to have an option to disable this auto-linking to open deals, as we need to be able to choose which deals we associate the conversation to, based on the deal that it’s relevant to.
I second that. Automated assigning of emails to Contacts is fantastic but there should be way for us to switch off auto-assigning to Deals. We have multiple Deals per contact/ organisation and then the emails are assigned to random Deals!! Then our HS users occasionally reply to completely wrong email within that Deal that is not meant to be there! Please help us have a functionality to switch off auto-assigning of emails to Deals.
It would be really helpful if we have the option to switch this auto-assigning function off. It creates a problem for us when we have contacts that are linked to multiple deals.
I upvote this. Often a contact record will be associated to 10 seperate deals (each deal being independent of the other) and the conversation or email will need to be associated to just one of those deals. If 'auto-associate' was turned off then we could manually associate the right email to the right deal.
We are currently stuggling with a similar issue for a centrlaised sales inbox. We have contacts linked to multiple deals and they are all being auto linked.
