Deleting a task in Salesforce should delete the task in HubSpot

We have an outbound call team that calls contacts from Salesforce using tasks created in HubSpot. Currently, if a task is deleted in Salesforce, it does not delete the task in HubSpot. This creates a lot of dupicate work as the outbound team will delete the tasks in Salesforce and I need to go back and delete the tasks in HubSpot to ensure our reporting is accurate.

LKennedy, I agree. This is a miss right now.

Currently, if you have a task, it appears it needs to be deleted in both systems. Extra step for teams that work in both.  Difficult to manage if you have a team in HS and a Team in Salesforce.

Hoping this is on the roadmap for future. Need to be able to confidently rely that task lists are accurately mirrored in both systems.

Anyone have any workarounds or solutions here?

Is this still the case? Also, I am wondering if a task is deleted in Salesforce but exists in Hubspot, would it be re-created in Salesforceat the next sync?

I completely agree this is a huge oversight, which causes bad data in Hubspot and extra work for system admins.

The HS KB page about the Task mapping to Salesforce is way outdated too. The KB makes it look like there are more options for mapping in the Task object, but when you get there in your portal, it is extremely limited and looks nothing like the article. This is an issue with the Account object as well, although the Account mapping page at least shows that it does nothing in HS when a record is deleted in SF, and has what looks like a pick list that isn't clickable to update the setting.

@PKirova - It does not recreate the task in Salesforce. My org has hundreds of tasks in Hubspot that are not in Salesforce.
